Mondo was founded in Alba in 1948 as a manufacturer of balls for handball.
Today Mondo is an international group with 9 manufacturing plants in Italy, Spain, Luxembourg and China, and sales subsidiaries in Europe, North America and Asia.
Mondo has been present in Brazil since the beginning of the nineties through our partner Playpiso Pisos Esportivos LTDA.
Mondo and Playpiso have installed together more than 70 athletic tracks in Brazil, that represent approximately 80% of the athletics venues in the country.
Relevant sports events have been held on Mondo tracks in Brazil such as the PanAmerican Games in Rio 2007, the 5th World Military Games in Rio 2011 as well as important national projects such as “Vale Oro program”, “Universidade Federal Program” and “Forza Armada Program”.
